Police factions are a good place to start for people looking to join a faction, they are less pvp based (on the whole) than the millitary, and also not as RP strict, as in you can talk about whatever and enjoy yourself as long as you do your job.

The police have also been granted some nice powers which make your life easier as you patrol your space.

since you like Kusari, you should maybe join the Kusari State Police

Im sure they'd be glad to have you.
