This is quite literally the case of building a box, slapping on some engines and some wings, and trying to submit it as a legit model for a mod. just because the model has been put into the game, does not mean that the model is appropriate for usage. and the fact that community members are posting comments along the lines of "I like it, it looks good, is it a liberty bomber", is shocking me that people are actually considering this as a serious submission.
I do not mean to be harsh, but cmon. just because you can complete the entire submission cycle doesn't mean a box with wings can be added as a possible ship replacement in the mod. now, i commend the fact that that being your first model, you learned how to hitbox, hard point, texture, and model etc all of it, but you have a while to go with this model if you wish for it to be a viable model replacement/new model for discovery, or any other mod itself.
regarding the model, it is too boxy and basic a design, it needs to be reworked from pretty much all angles. look at vanilla ships- they may be big and blocky, but they still have a design on which they're built on.
and I really have to ask the community- if you want the new modellers to improve, you have to give proper feedback. I understand giving positive feedback, but positive feedback is not the same as pointless/+1 feed back that's been going on.
