I personally, while i hate the factions who will use it with a passion, agree that seeing tentacles on wraiths and scorpions is just silly.

I think that if you are hating people with a passion because of a video game, you may have deeper issues then I am qualified to address.

Also, if your going to try to pose as a faction, how about using their tech instead of expecting me somehow not to notice the nomad crap on your ships? ive seen a wilde fafnir with a singularity cannon a few weeks ago, honestly, a quick scan would show the diffrence. Ive also seen wraiths with nomad guns and other random crap.

We may RP as being Military, especially across systems. But once we get within scanning distance we expect the IFF/ID/Guns/Agressiveness to teach people that we're Wilde. We may continue to lie, but that's an InRP lying. If someone is treating us like the Military, sometimes we'll go along with it, sometimes not.

If we want true undercover peepz, we create characters that use that IFF/ID, and act as members of that faction. Usually faction characters with the faction leader's oorp consent. It has worked out well so far.
