Entry Log 2

The Disc taught me everything I needed to know. After my “rebirth” I was assigned to enter the Network and learn everything about my new homeworld, Cybria. The Network was like an alternative life but into a digital mainframe around the planet. It simulated the reality but if you were in death situation you had infinite amount of retries. I learned that my DigiDisc wasn’t just a simple Identification card, but a weapon also. When detached from my back, it transformed into a deadly weapon, and the contact with it was resulted into erasing. The study package was different for me because I was half organic. The rest of the population of Cybria were artificially formed. I learned in almost 2 weeks everything needed to know about my new life and everything surrounding me. The planet was transformed into a huge globe made up of Titanium, Palladium, and Protanium. The vegetation was history almost 100.000 cycles ago, that mean in human time, 400 years. Everything was erased and completely reworked with intense advanced nanotechnology and ways never seen before. Then the Main-Grid was created across the surface of the planet. By digital quantum manufactory, the first cities were created in the matter of milicycles or months. Each city has one Mainframe Coordination Utility. The MCU has the capacity to interconnect different parts of the planet and establishing the first Main-Grid server unit. Each city has also it’s own Sub-Grid. Like small hubs that are connected to the main hub in the capitol city. Most of the planet’s surface transformed into a dark-grey colored one, with trillions of light stripes amazingly symmetrical. The light stripes are used for massive data transfers like, localization of several individuals to several grand events, updates, news, communicates and many other. After 50 years from the beginning of the Genesis, the Cybrian world was finished.

The population is divided in many categories and subcategories. I choose my programming as a Seeker. As I was the only half-organic being, some of them considered me an engineering miracle, or even a freak. Later on I distinguished my skills in “The Seekers Matrix”, which was a group acting similar to the Guardians, but mostly they made immediate terminations ( assassinations), Database Extortionists ( or corrupters and information gatherers) and Visual and Audio Observers (spies). My role was to obtain different kind of informations around Cybria and to upload them into The Seekers mainframe. It was necessary because like in all communities, there are several flows that wish to spread corruption and utterly the complete domination of the Main-Grid. The unit’s that broke the Code of the Navigation Laws, were considered as Viruses or as you call it, criminals. The Code was made of several laws that each unit has to respect, from avoiding to erase other units to unauthorized data traffic. The units considered as Viruses had two destinies if they were caught, Total Rectification or The Arena. The rectification was a very long and painful stage as each digital neural synapse was overloaded leading to destruction. The result was total memory loss, and repurposing. The Arena was composed of several staging battle games that the Viruses were supposed to execute without discussion. They were arranged in several battle cells and they were forced to fight for their survival with the DigiDiscs. The survivalists were sent to the next stage which was composed of fighting the Elite Guardians. They had at their disposal several Light Vehicles. There is the risk when a Virus isn’t caught by the Air Observer and he can spread his corrupted program to other units and even to infect an entire sector of the local Sub-Grid. My next update will arrive soon…
