A new faction RP story

I think the problem seems to stem from the opinion that you are creating a faction because you and your friends want your own faction as opposed to forming one because the community needs it or would benefit from it.

This mindset is often seen to cause failure or worse.

Well yes and no, ME personally am creating the faction because i feel that the Rheinland need more pirates in their sector, and me and my friends wish to RP in ways that suit them best. What i mean is with factions that fit their particular RP character or their playing style.

I agree that such a mind set can lead to a factions downfall or even it not starting at all. I believe that through our 'interactions' i have come to realize that now. I wish to say that i intend on creating this faction with the betterment of RP in mind, and not just solely for our own purposes
