NPCs

I have spoken to players who are quite happy to blast NPC trains away in their Ptrans & then the next day complain how these NPCs CDed them when they were on a trade run. Perspectives change on whether you are initiating action or reacting to it.

The arguments against NPCs on this (& many threads before it) are typically PvP based & I have often argued against them. I feel that removing NPCs will substantially reduce game atmosphere & in a RP game this can't be justified. I've played on a no NCP server & space was very empty.

At times they can be frustrating, but this game is a mixture of PvP & PvE and its upto the player to react according to circumstance. Admin are constantly tweaking stuff for game balance & to better the player's experience; I cannot see removing NPCs as high on the agenda.
