I really, really hope so. Due to a computer self destruction including the internal backup drive I had to save up the money to get as much data recovered as possible including my FL account manager account data. With the time that it took my old ships ended up being deleted. Four years work lost but I could deal with that.

I was somewhat surprised to find that even though acct was deleted I could not use the old names. I could deal with that.

My big surprise was when I had to start all over again, imagine my surprise when there was no longer helium in cloud behind Erie. That made it SO much harder to get restarted. I finally worked my way back up to a decent cargo ship again, now I keep an eye on the chat list & when I see some poor level 5-10 noob in Penn I'll kick him 100k or so anonymously to help them get a little better starting ship.

Just to help keep noobs interested & coming back it should have been the first mining field restored. It has never been a field to get rich in, just one to keep noobs going. I can understand those big miners pushing for their rich fields to be fixed first but you biggies, if you cant get noobs interested in mining from the beginning where are you going to Get new members from? If they cant get interested in mining from the start why should they go there later? I did solo & group mining in the past, fun RP, but when I had to start again if I hadn't known that mining could be profitable I would have just shrugged & went straight to trading as I did this time. As it stands most noobs are learning from start that mining don't pay.
