I fail too see how them being friendly could affect the Corsairs in any way.

My opinion is based on my understanding of the lore and GMG, Hessian and RM lore RP and is exactly that, a personal opinion.

Edit: yes, hogs should be repped hostile to the gmg and I think the BDS asked for it already

Well your understanding be as it may, your primary argument was that GMG are lawfuls, Hessians are unlawfuls therefore they should be hostile. Given the examples I listed this can hardly constitute as anything valid. Now as for the 80 Year War, yes that's history, but in Discovery people are allowed to re-shape relationships based on Role-Play, even dramatic changes such as Outcasts becoming neutral to the Bretonian Lawfuls. If that is allowed to happen, then I hardly see how Hessians and GMG can't do it either.
