Brigand VHF + a paintjob

I mean no offense to Angel of Mercy but, those Brigand ships you posted look absolutely terrible. Simple, boring shapes which are far to reminiscent of WWII aircraft, poor modeling, awful smoothing which makes them look bubbly, and a severe lack of detail which not even the shoddily applied textures can change. I would personally love to see remade ships.

Firstly; they are supposed to be reminiscent of WWII aircraft, that's their design.

Secondly; the smoothing is a result of the program used to render, they don't display with smoothing in-game. That's basic knowledge.

The models have around the same level of detail as your average Vanilla ship.





And considering you couldn't even texture your own ship, how can you have an opinion on "shoddily" applied textures?
It sounds more like someone's just looking to line their pockets again.

Many ships in Freelancer follow the saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." So just because you think the ships are ugly, doesn't mean there aren't people who love them. The ships don't belong to you, they belong to the community.

Put your resources into replacing import ships, before replacing perfectly fine original ships.
