I'd like to know where you got that information from, I certainly never said I was unable to tile map a ship, which I most certainly am. I allowed Justin to do it for the RH BS as I was lazy and didn't care too much about the money offered, which certainly isn't my initiate to make a ship or to make it well, considering I didn't offer to do this entire line redesign myself, and Tycho approached me to texture the RH BS, not the other way around. Trust me, you don't want to get into this little dick-waving contest of 'You can't do better' or 'who can do what' because I assure you, you will lose.

His argument hardly warrants a proper response any way. If he bothered to put some research into his claims then maybe I'd put effort into countering them. Hell, AoM's Brigand models are textured better than his Hessian Battleship. (No offense to Tycho, he did a good job with what he had.)

You provided pictures to supposedly help your point, and I commented on the pictures themselves and what, in my opinion, is what makes them ugly. I'm not going to spend valuable time in-game finding these craft just to please your silly 'research' quota. I also believe Tycho did a far better job on the battleship than AoM did on the Brigands, but see, here it all comes down to opinion.

The models have around the same level of detail as your average Vanilla ship.

That does not mean that AoM's Brigand ships are lacking detail or that the lack of detail is a good thing, comparing these newer models to some made way back when is silly, as, of course, the old models are going to lack detail.

Many ships in Freelancer follow the saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." So just because you think the ships are ugly, doesn't mean there aren't people who love them. The ships don't belong to you, they belong to the community.

And I can say this exact same thing for my battleship, which has only ever received rejection from you, and I, also, never claimed any ships as mine. So that's a bit of a strawman right there.
