Nobody said anything about trying to cram these into .86, and it is foolish to think that that is sebys intent. The brigand line is currently disjointed and shares very little base design with ships of the same damn line, aside from a lazily done texture job. There are freaking HOLES in the texture of the bomber, for example. (bomb bay, can see through ship at seams).

Sebys request to make the brigand line fit the lore of the brigands is entirely reasonable, due to the fact that their ships are meant to be strike/pirate ships. every brigand ship handles like some sort of light scout ship rather than a pirate ship, and looks that way as well.

Asking for a modeler to work on improving the line when these models on close inspection actually fall BELOW the criteria demanded of others not on the dev team in terms of modeling, is fairly justified.

Instead of flaming this thread, why not let it actually be on topic. Also, doom, AoM's original design for the asco featured a foward gun. it is not there, making it one of the crappyest gunships in the game. (4 turrets foward, 6 back. 500k plant, 100k armor. it is in effect, a ku explorer with weaker plant, armor, and bottlenose arcs but sideways.
