Hm, funny how you only show up in the threads offering money then. Forgive me if I misinterpreted this as being your motivation.

I'll admit, the RH BS was partially for the money, since I wanted to play on the server some more and this would be the 5-6th restart I'd have to do, and trading ain't exactly a fun or exciting way to spend my time, I'd rather create a model. Another reason was because I don't feel like looking around to find out what ships need to be made, because my time is torn between, not only some Discovery work, but two other FreeLancer mods, several FreeSpace mods, and Xonotic, which you may or may not have heard of.

Tycho did do a good job on texturing, yes. It is very tedious to texture an entire battleship, so many faces and such. However, there are far more mistakes made in texturing that one model than what is present on the entire Brigand line. There is no opinion there, that's fact.

Then why not, y'know, point them out?

Oh but don't fool yourself hun, just because the mindless and tasteless mob of +1ers of this forum are riding your nuts, doesn't mean your models are any good. They tend to do that for any pretty render put in front of them, no matter how bad it is.

Why of course, I realize that, I've noticed this behavior from the 4-5 years I've browsed this forum, even as a guest. But I wasn't talking about them, I was talking about the members of the Red Hessians, who themselves liked the ship.

For the record, I do think your modelling abilities are good. You can build ships that fit within the Freelancer standards, not many people can do that, despite how simple it is.
But that's the simple truth, the majority of people here don't understand what a good model is, you should focus more on the critisisms and critique from your peers than on the mindless praise of the mob.

I know. This isn't my first time modeling for a mod or a game or anything, but I never recieved any constructive criticism, even from you! It wasn't out of me ignoring you or something childish like that, it was because your criticisms were far too vague to actually get anything out of, such as one of the last ones 'get him to deflate some of the air out of it', to which I could infer what you meant by it, but that's not an exactly ideal solution, now is it?

Misinterpretation. "You" is a very ambiguous word, it can refer to a single person, or to an entire group. In the case of this context, it was used to refer to the Brigand Faction. So unless you're a part of the faction, that part of my post does not encompass you.

But I do enjoy your overly-defensive manor. However, not being open to critisism and critique is not a very good quality for anyone in the animation industry to possess. The world isn't all sugar coated fairytales out there.

And I know that, I took the criticism and critique where-ever it was offered and constructive.
