Yet another reason we need game masters.
That and in-game effects for in-rp things.
IC try to RP wit you, u no RP wit IC, cuse IC doesn't have uber-skilled snub pilots in-game to back it up.
This is a far more reaching problem than simply Kusari.
if a faction doesn't have the numbers or pvp skill in-game to make your factions life hell, it doesn't matter what sort of powers the lore or RP gives them.
You can just go "No u, i'm not rp'ing" and go along your merry merry way.
This is why military factions eventually pick up governing, no matter what else may be tried, and why official factions with command structures are needed.
Beacuse tehy are the only ones able to enforce jack crap, and they can only do it with in-game pvp.
Most of Disco isn't rp, it's "pewpew while that zoner over there rps, then go write a story justifying my pewpew"

Hell, one side winning in PvP no matter rp is the only way any conflicts on disco get resolved.
The GMG war?
It's going to go on forever.
Why?
Beacuse neither side will ever back down unless it gets it's ass handed to it in game, all the time.
That's why the Sigma-13 Junker incident ended.
Beacuse the Junkers didn't have the pewpew skills to combat the KPT.
Everybody on Disco runs around, looking to win and screw over other factions, but not once do they look towards resolving what conflicts are already there.
That's what i've been trying to do with IC, break down embargos, create peace, but nobody's having it.
Blargh.
