I'd like to apply to RHA. My parents have already settled here, but you can read the whole story here:
Quote:Reinhold Krupp - Red Hessian Army Pilot - "Wallow in pain and anxiety, I'll help you suffer less!"
Reinhold was only 6 years old when he got distracted from his parents. That was because his family was poor, they couldn't feed him, so they saw it as the only chance for a better life for him to desert him on Bonn Station. Luckily, Reinhold was found by a young pair, who decided to raise the child. Time passed, but not the memories of his true parents, and so he grew up with the never ending pain of not having his true parents beside him.
At the age of 16, he was flying around with his newly bought Hawk, which he bought with the money he saved himself a little trip in the nearby asteroid field. He was quite skilled with the ship, and knew to use it very good. But a Hessian patrol crossed ways with him. He became really afraid of those 2 ships, but somehow they were awfully familiar. He hailed them over secure comms: "P-please i-ident-tify yours-self. Over." The two ships qickly disappeared into the next Jump Hole. "Wait! I want to know who you are! Please!" he shouted over the comms. The ships didn't listen, and Reinhold followed them through the Jump Hole.
The two ships were found nowhere, so Reinhold got back to Bonn, where he found something strange: A notice from some unknown person, directed to him: "Come in 10 years to Dresden system, sector D3. Use this notice as a key to get into the base." Reinhold couldn't figure out from who this could come. So he waited 10 long years, and finally, at the age of 26, he got to the said sector in Dresden. All he saw was an orange cloud, and the Hessian patrols almost ignored him as he was passing through, until he found a giant base. He received a signal: "Identify yourself!" Reinhold read the notice he found at Bonn 10 years ago, and one docking bay opened. "You are free to dock, Mr. Krupp."
Reinhold was amazed: How could he know his name?! He immediately docked to see, and what he saw was like his deepest dreams coming true: Both of his parents, aged, but alive, they stood in front of him! "Vater, Mutter, you are alive! I can't say how glad I am!" Tears came out from his eyes, and he rushed to hug his parents. His father said: "We are also happy to see you again, Sohn, but we couldn't show ourselves because we needed to hide." - *Hide? From who?* Renhold asked. 'From Rheinland's Military, dear.' His mother said. "Look, this is our new home, Vogtland. From this day on, you are a Red Hessian, Reinhold."
2 days passed, and Reinhold still wonders why he got a Hessian that fast. He went to his father and asked him: "Vater, do you think I can represent the Hessians and their goals well?" - *Why do you doubt on it, Sohn? You know, we were living difficult times, our only choice was to flee. Flee from Rheinland. They laughed at us with the words: "Look at them! How weak they are! Listen, Reinhold, we are a proud family, but we had to flee to the Hessians, but couldn't take you with us, we weren't having enough food to survive the long journey. We all would die if you'd come with us. Do you understand? The pair we gave you are good pilots and helped us a lot times. You have endless potential, but we were too poor to make you release it. So we gave you to the pair.*
"So this means you gave me away so I can release what was sleeping my whole life in my body?" Reinhold asked. *Yes, Sohn, we did it that way. And if I look at you that way, I think it was the best decision for us all. Are you ready to fly for the Red Hessians, Reinhold?"
Reinhold, still needing to digest the emotional reunion, accepted his destiny, and from this day he was flying with Hessian colors.
I hope you accept me as one of yours, as I'd like to fly as a part of you, and I don't want to let my parents down.
