Battleship escorts are NOT a myth, and are usually to be seen when a faction goes raiding(it's used for support).

Please show me an outcast or corsair raid within the last 2 months containing a reasonable ammount of escorts, oh wait you cant...

i counted 12 raids the last 10 days;

In average there was 6 dreads, 3 battleships, 3 gunships, 2 fighters at the beginning, once the dreads and BS's starts dying, the fighters come....

This isnt just for the last two months, this goes for LN/RM raids too. Long time since i was in gallia, but there its usually a solid number of escorts (cuz their BS is a joke and easy to kill).

Escorts does "exist" but to stop 4+ bombers to rape a BS you need atleast 6-8 fighters, and those better have good aim.
