Confusion

I am 14 years old (almost 15).
I am very confused by things like this.
My parents say that drugs, cigarettes and alcohol are not good for me,and then I see here
that people glorify drugs ,alcohol and cigarettes.

Ok, I guess I'm what you would call a 'responsible adult'.

Cigarettes ARE bad for you.

You can take this as a very real truth.
It has been proven time and again that you will eventually end up with some sort of health problem if you smoke them on a regular basis.

Drugs, like Heroin, Cocaine, Crack, ICE and so on are really not good. They are addictive, expensive and can mess you up really really badly. Don't go there.

On to Marijuana. Also know as 'Grass', 'Gunja', 'Green' and various other names.
Opinions on whether it is bad for you vary quite a bit.
It's a 'recreational' or 'party' drug.
It can be smoked in various implements or baked in cake, cookies and other things.

Some people who have serious pain use it as a pain killer and it is apparently very effective.
Everyone who uses it has a preferred method.

I personally have smoked it and eaten it in a cake.

As far as I know, it's not addictive, although some people I used to know ended up not being able to get through a day without 'getting high'.

I no longer use Marijuana, as I have become a security officer.

However, it IS ILLEGAL in most countries.

Alcohol! The so called 'safe drug' for the masses.

Alcohol is a socially acceptable drug.
This doesn't mean that you should go and drink 2 bottles of your favorite alcoholic drink right now.
Drinking is ok, getting drunk is not. This is my opinion.

I've been drunk..... once. I almost did something REALLY stupid and woke up with a hangover that I thought was going to kill me.

Most countries have an age limit as far as drinking alcohol goes. It varies from place to place.
Here in Australia, it is 18.

What you need to do is LISTEN TO YOUR PARENTS..... and read everything you can get your hands on about the subject in question.

You will find a lot of stuff on the internet and with some of it YOU will have to decide if it is the truth or not
