Encounters: A_____ (Independent Corsair Pirate)
(If anyone remembers the name please let me know.)
Trying to get out of New York and into Colorado, we were surrounded on all sides by pirates. Our group was floating around Baltimore Shipyard. More and more pirates were arriving, taking an interest in our soft, supple convoy. The supervisor, Miami, made the call to head towards the Colorado jump gate and just pay the one pirate on that lane. We paid him $3M and continued on our way. That was probably the best course of action given the circumstances. Hopefully the profits later made up for it.
Casualties:
None
CEO Notes: "Too many pirates in New York. We are frequently overwhelmed by their firepower and numbers. The low staff in the DoS doesn't help either. After the first pirate interaction, the rest of the ride was relatively smooth though. I think we still made a pretty good profit."
