Hunter took note of the forceful tone in this woman's voice. Blood specks over her uniform only reinforced his thoughts that she was not one to be messed with. He quickly got up and followed her into the office.
He saw the body of the man who had just walked into the office. The very man who had been claiming to be an ex-Coalitioner was now lying on the ground in a pool of his own blood, seeping out of two bullet holes in his head, and one in his heart. A quick and professional kill, meant to save time. If they had the capacity to do this to one whom they once called brother, simply for jumping a queue, Hunter dreaded what they would do to him if he stepped out of line.
He took his seat at the woman's beck, sitting in front of the man he could only assume to be called Major Doriano. Hopefully his assumption was right, for his sake.
