Greetings friends at IMG, my name is Pietro Kerensky inventor and ace pilot. I grew up flying, both my grandfather and father served Rheinland, but when the last war spilled over and the Nomads started infecting people, i had to watch everyone I know and love die or get infected. Rheinland is no longer a safe place for my research and I feel it prudent to join forces with a well established enterprise who also happens to be well connected. Your companies neutrality in most matters makes not only the acquirement of certain materials much easier than a house affiliated company, but also broadens the market for any designs we may, in the future, sell. I recently completed my newest bomber design only to find a copy of it on the market under the name of Ageira technologies. I have learned from this that I will need corporate backing to protect myself in the future, as well as muscle to reclaim anything that may be stolen again. My designs are superior to open market vessels and I would love to produce them under IMG's banner. I see from your recruitment banner that you have a specific format for a few hand-picked questions you would like answered, so I shall comply.

Biography: (detailed information about your character - no orphans please. Minimum 100 words)
My family was killed during the Nomad invasion. I was paralyzed by how powerless we were in the beginning. I guess that was my defining moment, when i decided to make ships and weapons to protect people from things like that ever again. My inventing was sparked originally by my grandfather who also was an inventor, and we have him to thank for many advances in tachyon based weaponry as well as the defender line of positronic shield generation. I built a laboratory deep in the Omegas to further my research and designs when one of the supply ships from Daumann that regularly stops in to supply my little operation took off before they had even finished unloading. Later did i find that one of the crewmembers was no Daumann employee and had stolen the plans to my ship design. That was when I decided to apply here. Funds, protection of designs, larger research facilities and collaboration, as well as the opportunity to grease a few corsairs and outcasts on a routine "test" pilot run. Sounds like a winning combination to me.

Outline the Independent Miners Guild goals: (your answer) To mine and trade at a fair price while maintaining as close to true neutrality as possible. To further the technologies of mining and ore refining to create stronger alloys for production as well as protecting mineral assets from other factions and groups. IMG is peaceful by nature but can wield great power when it needs it. I suppose the goal of any great company is to wield great power but to never have to use it.

What can you contribute while inside the Guild ? (your answer) Ace-class piloting for testing, recon, guard duty, and pirate hunting if need be, as well as technological advances other companies would bleed just to steal from me. Your corporation would benefit greatly by my employment.

Which are your personal reasons for joining the Guild ? Also, which IMG Department would you like to be part of ? (you can select only one department) I believe I partially already answered this question but I find safety in numbers and would like to never again see one of my designs go to someone else for their benefit. I also agree with the politics of the faction, and would like to help spread that influence.

Please provide your Skype ID: (an extremely important tool and it use is required if you want to be part of the faction) I do not have Skype, i know this is a black mark on me, but it wouldn't matter as the Mic port on this POS computer is most likely deceased. I'm usually not too talkative anyway but im willing to download it simply to take direction from say a squadron leader or whatever but i hope that my inability to communicate out without typing is most likely limited. i will have to test out my new headset and see if the results are different...

For how long do you play on the server? Have you ever been part of other player factions? If yes, which ones? (more oorp information we wish to know) I am pretty new to the server as well as the mod. I played TNG for years and just recently dusted off Freelancer for the first time in about 2 years. i refreshed the multiplayer tab to see where most people were, and when i saw this to be most popular mod and server i hopped right in. I have never been part of any player faction as of yet.

Have you ever been sanctioned? If yes, please provide links to all your sanctions: (we won't judge you for that, but we want to know) Nope, only broke one rule so far and thankfully the victim of my unjust attack decided to let it go, but i didnt know the rules of engagement at the time and he WAS red.... anyway, no bans, no sanctions.

I hope you find my proposal to your benefit and decided to include me into your roster. I would be honored to smash as many corsairs, nomads and o
utcasts as i can get my crosshairs on. Oh, also I see that you had specific departments you wanted us to apply for and we could only choose one. Well Id like research and exploration, with a chance for the ocassional paramilitary.
