Hmm... 50 credits for a gynormous tank of H-Fuel... I see your predicament. Plus, I agree... He prolly would have retired with 360 mill. But what if he's really trigger happy? Or wants to... Buy... A system. Or a continent. I don't know! Crew... Probably wouldn't want more than 9 mill, assuming the H-Fuel costed more than 1 mill. So there is still plenty of profit.
All I know is that with proper RP, like Master Theo's, a merc ID with a BS can be fine. The ID makes you neutral, but allows people to shoot at you. Nobody makes you get hired. It makes life more fun than floating about doing NPC missions.
