Circumstances:
A couple of claims to lodge for work done in Cortez. First up was a pirate Falcata, preying on vessels entering Cortez via the California jump gate. I happened upon him just as a trader was being accosted. He legged it immediately, and I gave chase. I thought at first he was attempting to get to a Rogue base known to be in the area, but when he saw he couldn't shake me, he instead tried to destroy my vessel. I turned the tables on him in short order.
Second was a Junker in a Salvage Frigate I ran across. I was appauled to see his hold filled to the bulkheads with slaves. This one I pursued right up to a previously unknown base. Unfortunately I later discovered that the base had some kind of jamming mechanism, and all my data regarding its defense capabilities and location was corrupted. I was, however, able to ............ persuade the slaver to accompany me to Freeport 4 in the Magellan system, where the slaves were freed. There's no data on how slavers in particular are dealt with by this board. I assume it's as a smuggler. Also, you have a multiplier for destroying contraband, and I'm sure you would not have wanted the slaves murdered, so I assume this multiplier applies for ensuring their arrival at a friendly base. At least, my claim is placed with these assumptions.
Lastly a couple of Xenos I'd heard were causing a ruckus in Galileo. They were on the offensive as soon as I exited the trade lane at Raiden bend. Didn't help them though.
