Pasha glanced at the old style pa box on the wall, and over at the recruit... Mason, who was trying to get his hook onto the line.

"Sorry," Pasha said as he pushed the youth over the back end of the ramp, sending him sprawling into what used to be a duck pond.

"We're clear, comrade-major..." Pasha began, as he watched a ghostly contrail spiraling up from the treeline, headed his way. "Боже мои!"

"Go, go...go... go!" he began grabbing recruits and literally hurling them out of the rear compartment of the storm, as the ships collision alerts began to scream, praying as he hurled himself further back into the compartment, scrambling into the armoured BJ02 jeep as the missile hit home, exploding into the aft section of the cargo bay, sending a fireball through the unlucky recruits who hadn't had a chance to jump for freedom.
