Right before the explosion he jumps into a ditch for cover.

"Arghhh... Home-made nades... using nails as shrapnel ..." - Mason Curses in French while removing one of the nails that hit'ed him in the Leg.


[Curses in French] " Now let's where those guerrilla bâ***ds are. " -He take hes Binoculus off , although one of the lens is uttrely destroyed and try spot the enemy force.

Astonished with the landscape. Mason freezes for a second there , all hes senses gets more accurate for a second as he watch from a scenic view the enemy firing at the Storm gunship that he was pushed on.

" Allright , Just like at home ...Just like you learned -He speaks to him self , trying to calm it self down.
Now. Thats 100meters... No...No...Like..1 ol' earth soccer field .. 300meters , Yes !"

Mason start making hes way through the wasteland , through the ruins of houses , through the lifes of the fallen who use to call this city home.


" -Ahh ... Mason ... Mason...Mason .You need start saying now when random people invite you to fight random battles ..." [ He grumbles to him self while walks through a house with what appears to be children skeletons ]

A noise is heard .He swiftly hide bihind , what appears to be a old Elementary school Wall.

"Ahhha There you are you lil' wastland rat! I got you know." - Mason grab hes Old Brigand Knife he stole from hes fathers cupboard back in Gallia. And Cairfully makes hes way to the unsuspected enemy that was releaving himself onto a corpse of a previous recruit tossed out of a speeding gunship like him self.
Right before Mason stab the guerrilla ...

"I'am truly sorry monsieur.. it is you or me."

It was the first time mason killed anyone Face-to-face. He shot down many fighters , but this was close hand-to-hand combat. Something he never experienced before in hes life , Take life with he bare hands.
Already Adopted to the Situation , Mason quickly , search the guerrilla's body for a gun but he finds something better , a Radio , and as he looks to the dead man body he realizes , hes not just a fighters , he seems to be high rank among these rebels salvagers. Quickly enough he radio-in the rebel forcers and told them to all retreat to a destroyed building not far from their original position.


" -Fall Back!!! They got more Gunships incomming , seek cover on the shopping north of your current position !! - Said Mason to the rebel forces unaware of hes plan."

With hes Binoculus , Mason saw the rebels moving inside the abandoned shopping mall .Hes Plan worked like a charm!
