Order Remnant Lore
The Order was devastated in the bloody Nomad War. The Osiris, the sole battleship, fought until the end, finally facing no less than three Nomad Marduk Battleships. As its fighter escorts engaged, the Osiris managed to concentrate enough firepower to destroy a sole Marduk. Changing fire, the Osiris managed to heavily damage the next Marduk before Nomad Bombers unleashed their deadly payloads into the Osiris.
As the Osiriss super carriage shattered, and it broke in two, a portion of the crew escaped and made for Toledo. Crashing, the remaining crew did their best to survive as the strike teams went for the sphere. Failing, and low on fuel, the remains of the Order Strike Wings were led by Junko Zane and Michael King back to Toledo, where they crashed landed, or barely managed to land, on the frozen surface.. Edison Trent and Casper Orillion both died in the attack, as did Doctor Roland Quintaine. Stuck on the surface, Zane and King did their best to lead, until King succumbed to wounds. As Junko mourned, the camp spiraled to chaos, as Kendra Sinclair failed in keeping the order. The chaos ensured, but stopped when a pilot known only as Sora managed to restore order. As the remnant did their best to survive, living in caves, rationing heavily, a young enterprising engineer named Finn Hawkins managed to convert the communications arrays on the remaining two Anubis fighters left and send a signal for help.
Far away, in the Sanctuary 42 System, Ellie Synk, onboard the Everest-Class Dreadnought Citadel of Quebec, received the SOS signal. Mobilizing a small fleet comprised of the COQ, two Kilimanjaro-class cruisers, four Normandy-class frigates, and five Agincourt-Class Guard Gun ships, and accompanied by no less than ten full fighter wings, Ellie Synk stormed the Omicron Minor system, breaking through the Nomad blockade to Toledo. As the majority of her fleet held the line, and the Citadel of Quebec achieving Orbit, Ellie dispatched the Normandy-Class Frigate Forward Unto Dawn to the surface to locate the survivors. Rescuing around one hundred people who had served onboard the Osiris, along with the remaining twenty pilots, the ***** Fleet managed to clamp the remains of the once-formidable Osiris to them and began its retreat. As Nomads poured in from the Dyson Sphere, the Citadel of Quebec was cut off from the remainder of the fleet until Dave Synk, the husband of Ellie, brought his fleet in, covering the Citadel of Quebec and her escorts.
Making it the to Sanctuary-42 system, the Osiris remains where transferred to the ***** Shipyard and technicians began to look over the destroyed vessel as the survivors were treated onboard the Citadel of Quebec. It was at this time that Sora took command of the Order Remnant, with Junko Zane as his Second in Command. Negotiating with the ***** Leadership, Sora managed to forge an alliance with the ***** group, and even managed to gain the means top rebuild the Osiris.
Present:
With the help of ***** technicians, the Order Remnant was able to rebuild the shattered Osiris, renaming it the Oathkeeper. Now closely allied with *****, the Order Remnant bases off the Osiris, commencing surgical strikes with the newly-designed Nephthys and Sekhmet craft that Cerberus had helped to design, against Nomad holdings within the Sirius sector.
The Order Remnant, lead by Sora, now seeks to rebuild what they once were and beyond. Thanks to ***, Sora and his Remnant were given a second chance, and the Order Remnant became a feared guerilla warfare force. Utilizing Fighters and Bombers, the Remnant uses the Osiris as their staging ground for any and all operations, being able to retreat to it and regroup under her guns. The Remnant actively helps Cerberus, whos support in rebuilding the Osiris and saving the remains of the Order leaves them with a debt they cannot easily repay.
Diplomacy:
Allied:
*****: After the loss of the Osiris, the survivors were stranded on Toledo. It was ***** who risked their lives to save them, and, after repairing the shattered Osiris, became the closest allies of the Order Remnant, despite the past. The Remnant is in their debt.
Zoners: Other than Corsairs, the Zoners are some of the only entities within Sirius who actively help the Order Remnant, supply them with food and docking facilities. The Remnant helps the Zoners as best as they can.
Friendly:
Corsairs: The alliance was shattered, but the Order Remnant forged a new one. Doing their best, both sides are attempting to help the other.
Neutral:
Everyone Else until I get more info.
Unfriendly:
Hostile:
Nomads: Their main enemy, the Remnant commences surgical strikes against Nomad holdings, but never repeating the same mistakes that led to their defeat during the Nomad War.
