Greetings Fleet Kaptain, it is my hope this message reaches you swiftly and unscanned. It took alot of effort to obtain your comm frequency and it is for good purpose I do so but firstly I must introduce myself I suppose. I am Mavin Haltese<<Call Sign Mavin>>, a former freelancer of the Liberty and Rheinland expanse. In my travels, I have fought many foes and worked for many "employers" not siding with any, choosing to stay neutral in the wars of Sirius. However it is starting to dawn on me that this cannot last forever in these times so I'd rather draw my own future then have someone else draw it for me. As I mentioned, I have worked for many so called "employers" and done a few things I didn't agree with however I seek to make things right. I have my limits and try not to cross them which brings me to my choice to join you.
No more then a month ago, I had been doing some shipment escorting for several trains owned by Kruger,bringing what I had assumed to be consumer goods through Rheinland territory over a relatively quiet route. Upon arrival at a remote mining facility, I was ordered to leave....without my payment to which I spoke against only to receive several shots across my port side. Again I was ordered to leave and to much resentment. Over the next few days I did digging into the company in hopes to find out what I really had been escorting since I doubt that consumer goods would be met with such hostility. Over the court of my search I unearthed many dark things about the mining industry that were not only morally wrong but in my opinion, a crime and insult to all that the people of Rheinland stood for. However it did not just end at this, several companies were involved including the military to my surprise. It was then that I learned of your faction and what you fought for, a noble cause. These days, that is truely something rare to find in the Sirius Sector....something I could fight for. It is time for me to take a side in these wars and it is my hope that you will accept me in my choice to be a Red Hessian.

((OOC. It might be obvious in some parts of the message but I am a new roleplayer(As well as the realm) to freelancer but not the game. I have been playing on and off for over two years now, formerly playing the Asgard server/mod. However, I am new to the Roleplay style of Freelancer since Asgard had very little of that sadly which was why I left the game. I am an experienced roleplayer though coming from World of Warcraft Roleplay realms where I was fairly heavy in my RP setting. Freelancer roleplay may be different....correction, far different, from WoW but it has the same ideas behind it which is actually what lured me back after seeing this server/forums.
At the moment I am flying a Sea Serpent, which I admit is a Bounty Hunter ship but I am slowly working up my cash to purchase a Sabre from Vogtland Base. I have also been working up my Hessian rep and just about to break friendly which I should easily get quick enough.))
