funny thing is - we have all seen the discussion about the red hessians - i guess. how they dare to use neutral ships and equipment. - how very out of roleplay that is.

now you d like to make a nomad. - well, even if there s a lot of whatever stuff around them - it all turns out to be: they don t like humans and humans dont like nomads. so why not just make a nomad, a real nice little nomad. you ll be red to everyone but the wild and everyone with a gun will probably shoot you.

i don t really like that "protector of the human race" stuff. they are nomads. they might not be dumb, but they haven t been too diplomatic either.

i think that d make the roleplay much easier - make up your mind what your space of influence would be - try it out ( who knows - maybe you don t like it much ) and if it turns out perfectly fine - .... maybe you ll get a nomad ID along with a faction adjustment ( all hostile )

i would like to see more player nomads around. ( <-- note here, nomads, not nomads with human equipment, or nomads that use human stuff like lanes, jumpgates etc )

personally - i wouldn t wanne be a nomad. too much work, too many foes, - and you can t even chat inrole, but only out of role. bit boring, imo.... .

so, question to you vape - why do you want to be nomad anyway. uniqueness can be found easier in other factions. the community is quite small - compared to large games like WoW. becoming a celebrity doesn t mean you have to think of somthing like being a supertelepathic, half human, half alien, with extraordinary skills - ( and a glowing blue ship ) ... you can also be unique as a miner employed by the BMM ( no sarcasm there )
