Michael Lee Platt, Absit.Invidia salvage frigate
Howdy, congressmen.
Well, i got some disturbing news. While roaming the Humboldt system just recently i ran into a DSE miner. Since the area was clear i made the pilot fella fill my hold with some silver. On my way back to California i ran into a heavily armed and armored Rogue destroyer named LR-I.Blame.My.Mother. It's captain asked about miners in the area so i, all nice 'n' all, told him to check the fields nearby. Instead the captain of the ship fealt compelled to impose some imaginary tax on me and my cargo, claiming my ship was in his space and that i scared off his targets. After i unsuccsessfully tried to reason with the captain i incinerated my cargo and attempted to move on. I refused to give in to these bogus demands. The destroyer immediately opened fire with all guns but stopped just before my frigate completely crumbled from damage. Then the captain proceeded to mock me as i cruised away leaking oxygen and fuel. Unfortunately the severe damage got most of the main computer and i was unable to replicate communication logs.
The whole thing fealt like a slap in the face. After all the work i've put into running goods to Rogues and their buddies, this is how i am repayed ? I hope you fellas at the top could take a look into this, at least.
