Feature idea: Ingame friends lists

also: why dont you simply remember your friend character names? or you have too many? or too bad memory?

Imagine that every player has ~4-40 ships. Especially in factions, where everyone has often multiple ships.
Yes, I can hardly remember who's behind some ships. And most people don't have their shipnames listed in their profiles. Sure that's okay. It's about having the "permission", to know when your friends are online with what ship. Using that feature wouldn't be a must!

OORP and stupid tool. And you have skype for it.
I would be more happy for suggestions that improve RP- not to the useless Oorp ones.

However the said command improve oorp stuff and metagaming- hence it is useless and there is alternative-spam in skype all day long.

However, it's not meant to be an ooRP tool. Switching between skype and Freelancer can be annoying sometimes, and I don't see a reason, how it could hurt anyone's RP?!

Metagaming? Seriously? I'm afraid you didn't understood the whole idea.
Only people whom you gave the 'password' of your shipname will be able to see you. You can decide by yourself, who can see you, and who not.
And I repeat: Using that feature wouldn't be a must!
