Mining is screwed

Not that this thread is about RP it's supposed to be about mining or the lack thereof, I'll give my opinion about RP.

I don't mind a bit of what I would call incidental RP. Like bumping into either friendlies or hostiles on the lanes or elsewhere. I like a bit of patter as they say and this increases my enjoyment of the game. ( We do all remember that it is a game right? )

I have to draw the line at sitting in groups discussing the virtual doings of none existent characters and organizations. I simply cannot go that far. To be honest I find it a little childish and embarrassing. But hey that's just me. I do not propose bringing in rule changes to sanction people who act as though it's a drama school here.
I simply want to point out that not everyone plays the game the same way.

The point is that the current mining system spoils the way I want to and used to play the game and I doubt that I am the only one who feels that way.

People keep saying I'm just whining but not proposing fixes but that simply is not true. I have said on several occassions before that the price nerf was sufficient which obviously says that I believe this depletion thing is naff and we should return to reliable if slightly reduced "reliable" yields. That would be my proposal.

Would it make everyone happy? Obviously not but that's impossible isn't it?
