Before I start, I would also like to make the following perfectly clear.

WE DO NOT HAVE 8 NOMAD TURRET SCORPIONS ANYMORE!!!

That issue was settled a long time ago. If you are wondering why Vladamir said "full nom" in the first screen shot, well that makes two of us because all of our ships are 50% human and 50% nomad.

No there are not. There are, however, rules against insufficient role-play before engagement, and what we see in that screen is exactly that; insufficient role-play prior to an engagement.

What is insufficient roleplay? Did you not read my post? We do not need to give you our life stories when we run into you. Especially if we suspect there is a confrontation coming. Anyone that has been in the position where you are forced to run or fight against a greater number of players understands this.

As was pointed out, there are no rules prohibiting that. However, I would like to see either your guns or your official status removed. Yes I said it. Why? Because, you were given both, as well as in ID which is pretty much the terrorist one with the assumption that your roleplay was excellent and responsible. Yet I don't see how your roleplay and behaviour is different from a lolwhut that pirates in a cruiser because he doesn't know it's bad behaviour. Oh wait, there is a difference: you are well aware of your wrong doings, yet you follow the same path. Basically you were given these very powerful guns on nothing but your word, you promised not to abuse them. Yet I've yet to see a rheinland gunboat, a wilde fighter (saw 2 once upon the time) or even a scorpion with less than 5 nomad turrets (saw 3 of those today).

To sum it up: I don't exactly see what you did to deserve all the privileges that you were given.

Edit: or, better still, give everyone the same privileges. Either works for me.

You know what? I don't need to explain to you why Das Wilde was made a faction. Why? Because it is a faction and we role play ACCORDING TO OUR LORE. That includes shooting a lone Hessian that decided to not run or state his purpose for existence. Contrary to popular belief, we do not go around ganking people for the fun of it.

More over, I find it pretty funny that people seem to only question this faction's existence when some obscure and even shoddy evidence is presented showing us in a bad light. Have you ever looked at the kudos thread or even our feedback thread? How about our message dump, there's plenty of good role play there. If you choose to ignore these instances of good RP, I can't help you. If you want to only look at the bad stuff, then go ahead. I guess Das Wilde is just some s****y faction made up of a bunch of sore losers who have nothing better to do than torment other players with poor role play.

Costin, I'm further insulted that you question the behavior of this group of players. Have you ever actually talked to any of them? Have they ever insulted you OORP?

Lastly, these are the loadouts for my GBs:

RM GB.

Scorpion.

As you can see, the RM GB has nine weapon slots. How are you supposed to balance that 50/50? I chose to go with four Nomad weapons, but I don't see why five is questionable. It's only one weapon.

The Scorpion has ten weapon slots which allows for five Nomad weapons and five human weapons / equipment. While I have four turrets, it is not impossible to have five Nomad weapons and three Human weapons + a Human CM and CD.

Oh, and while I'm on the subject of player behavior... How would you feel if had to deal with this all the time:



Nonetheless, I don't care much for it --- it's something that comes with the territory. However, take our situation into consideration please. I'm not saying any of us are perfect, sometimes our actions reflect that. But we have never, ever, EVER broken the rules because of our situation. If we get ganked, we might complain about it to one another, but we don't go OORP and yell at people for it, not unless there's a good reason anyways.

I think it was amusing from boss'es perspective that every time such a seething hatred for anything that gets a specific player or player groups goat immediately the offended parties go into nanny mode.

We do not want this. nanny's running this place because it will behoove you to see how fast the exact same mentality will be turned on -you-.

This maybe all for nothing however because if i were the Wilde in this instance i would kindly thank you for the feedback and acknowledge your input. and leave more important topics to bear besides "you deserve hellfire for killing me with kickass weapons and ships."

Look, everyone's feedback is appreciated. However, do not expect any of us to say "Thanks." when you give us a four line post in our feedback thread whining about being killed under perfectly reasonable RP. It's a game, if you can't take getting ganked, killed, CDed, attacked, talked to, etc. then I'm sorry, but Discovery is not for you.
