Log: "Finally...*panting*...got it. Jumpin' in, headin' west. Reminder to self: cover exhausts an' engines when landin'."

Log: "Landed in a gorge of some sort, found a significant water source. Engaged shutters on da Breath, hopin' dere ain't gunna be nutha' sandstorm... Ah'm goin in, gunna take microbiological readin's o' da water, check for some aquatic lifeforms."

Log: "Wonderful! Jus' wonderful! Da water be completely clean an' 100% safe fah' drinkin'. Dis be what yah get on a planet wit' no industry... ah'm lovin' it. Ah tasted da water, an' it has an odd flavour to it... must be da minerals somewhere above stream. Ah'm still alive, so guess dey ain't dangerous. *snicker*"

Log: "Found a nice shady place ta' siddown an' chow. Note ta' self: Bring spices next time, dese rations be as bland as a beatless yute."

Log: "Followed da river down stream, found a GORGEOUS oasis. Ah swear, ah live fah' moments like dese. Snooped around a lil', found two interestin' creatures. Dis be a mammal, ah'm guessin', very docile, ain't afraid of meh one tiny bit. Got in close, took a scan, saved it. Poked around a lil' bit more, found another interestin' beastie... Dese lil' freaks look like cacti, but dey walk, drink, eat, everythin'! Howeva' da moment dey see movement, dey cluster up together an' take root. Ah'm gunna try an' go closah', get a scan."

Log: "Okay, gettin' close was a mistake. Turns out dey shoot dem quills and head fah' da shrubs da moment somethin' large comes close. Lucky ah covered mah face wit' da coat, ah'm takin' da quills ta' check if dey toxic. Note ta' self: BE MORE CAREFUL."

Log: "Da suns be high rite now, an ah've scanned da quills dey shot at me. Turns out dey ain't poisonous, but dey acidic, release on impact. So, whoeva' sees dem, proceed wit' caution. Can't imagine what can eat dem nasty beasts."

Log: "Took a few sniffs around, collected all da different plants ah could'a find fah' da research. Gunna show dem ta' Banger, 'e might use dem. Gotta start usin' gloves though, some o' dese plants got nasty-lookin' thorns on 'em. Gunna proceed up stream, towards da source o' da river, if ah can find it today... Jah knows how far it mi-" *low pitched growl, followed by a short "Holy *beep*" and sounds of rapid footsteps*

Log: "Pheeeew, dis was CLOSE! Dere ah was, sittin' on a rock, some two hundred feet from da oasis edge, all o' da sudden da sand starts shiftin'! Ah took runnin', leapt on da speeder and charged off. Turned around on a safe distance, an' saw a huge pothole in da ground. Came closah' an' took a snapshot, but 'ad 'ta dash real quick, dat ...dat... ting almost got me wit' its tentacle. Ah'm guessin' it'd be a quick an' nasty end ta' yours truly, heh heh. Back ta' da Breath, an note to self: Park it AWAY from sand."

Log: "Da suns be settin'... damn, dis be one o' da most beautiful tings ah've evah seen... Took a snapshot, but ah'm damn sorry yah can't be 'ere ta' see dis. Gonna light one later, den fly off ta' high rock. Ain't takin' more chances."

Log: "Heh heh heh... way ta' go, Jonah, way ta' go. Almost walked mahself off ta' death. Dat damn cliff edge showed up jus' on da wrong spot. Today ah'm gonna take a small excursion ta' see what goes on when da night falls. Ah'm gonna put on da nightvision goggles, switchin' PDA ta' nightmode snapshots."
