What strikes me odd about DiscoveryGC and the admins

the admins could ban you without any reason if they wished, would make the players...behave?

I don't believe so, unlike in real life, people have the option of just simply walking away from this place if they don't like it or feel unfairly treated. In the case of real life, if the admins were dictators, then you'd probably be trapped in a country where there was little chance of escape from the slavery that you would be cast into. Simply put, the community has the option to behave, and so do the admins. Both can walk away at any point that they choose to. There's no reason to behave if you genuinely don't want to. It's just lucky for us, that the admins are good and fair people who want what's best for this place.
