Also thank you to all that staid away or left when I requested them to leave (the Corsairs that seem to have been called for help ingamely, but they just didn't really fit).
The bombing of Briesen: Thank you for the roleplay there. I was not engaged for real, so I could actually roleplay and get a few nice screenies for forum-rp. Also the reaction of making someone run to Stuttgart to call help after we hit the antenna first, was great! I wouldn't have expected that. It also gave us some time to hit a few times.
I liked the EDGE-reaction of not getting involved (since they support IMG in the Taus). I guess it was tempting to just wipe our few bombers out, but you didn't. It's appreciated!
I didn't see the chaos when the Hessians jumped in, but I enjoyed the roleplay during the bombing and RHA on the PM line. Coordinating this was cool. I loved it. I hope the numbers were okay, I didn't have an idea. I just called the Hessians when everything near Briesen was full of RM (from my limited perspective). =)
The trade runs:
I had one really tough one in which I nearly got destroyed. And it got my adrenaline pumping. It was also a great sight. I hope my screenies capture it. But I guess I might have got some nice stuff.
I found it great when Rheinland really attacked the transports and I saw many that were not quickdocking but "mooring" and being fat targets there. Kudos to these who really took the danger!
Also nice: the Bretonia-checkpoint that talked about regulations when carrying Pharmaceuticals. It was only a small bit (and I just ran past), but it added a cool sense of reality and a presence of Bretonia to the scenario.
The atmosphere in chat and in our group chat was tense at the time when the fight was at Freistadt. That was the best part of the whole event, in my opinion. After the fight moved off, we still upheld the tension in chat, but it disappeared. It was replaced by trader-ingame-talk which was great, too.
I don't have much to crizicise because I wasn't part of the part of the event that causes QQ most often: Pvp. I can only hope that it was not completely unfair. I can say for myself, that it was absolutely impossible for me to oversee then numbers at any time of the event.
Next time I'd change a few things:
> Use FR4 from the very beginning (even though I think EDGE was not a bad addition in terms of evening it out, actually).
> Try not to answer to 400 PMs when the events should start, because the number of PMs just increase by every second you delay the start.
> Don't go at mega-prime time because it was hard to relog onto the server (I needed to switch accounts)
