Crown and Coin

Martin adjusted his new sublieutenant's uniform before entering the bar. He stopped at the entrance, and took the place in; its walls were festooned with pictures of BAF heroes, ships, bases...and the sorts of things one would expect to be on the wall of a BAF bar. Not bad...I do hope their drinks are as good as their decor.

He limped on in, still looking around for a familiar face. Nothing. Hardly surprising, seeing as I'm still quite new here. Ah, well. Martin signalled the bartender, then started flipping a coin in his hand as he thought about...things. Blast, did I feed the fish before I left home? I hope so, be bloody awful to come home to "dead fish smell". I wonder where everyone else has been? Seems I've not seen more than one or two of them in the past week. What to order, what to order...I hear they have good chicken, but who comes here for the food? Hmm...
