but all the new players nowadays want to be either Outcast, Corsair, or independant pirates. No one is joining houses anymore, which is reflected in the KNF's and SF's activity levels.

Ya, it's true. Most of the new players you see coming around want to be the bad guy, want to PvP, ect. This is normal really. We were all like that when we joined up. What I try to do, and so do a lot of other players, is sit in New York and try to point new players to some of the lawful factions like the SF and KNF. It works every now and then, but some people are just to stubborn.

EDIT: Also, all the ideas about renaming the Bretonian factions is cool and all. But wait for Blunt, Unselie, and Firebird to take a look at this before starting to make a move.
