these ships are MEANT to look simple. Rough shapes, no fancy lines ... more a down to business appearence. - they are based off of the known and reliable BW line but meant to take the concepts a little bit futher.

it was a longer time ago that someone ( forgot who ) asked if it was possible to make a few concepts of a shipline for mercenaries and freelancers that was not associated with any faction. - since the BW line is associated with unlawfuls ( for a large part ) and the eagle line isn t really too popular for some reason - this might be an alternative.

the light fighter is similar to the dagger - but slightly smaller. it shares the base characteristics with the long and hexagonal nose and the wings. - in contrast to the dagger however - this one is more designed to allow stable atmospheric flight ( larger wings )

also similar to the stiletto BW line ... a bottom module was added as well as larger wings. - the ship itself might be similar to the kingfisher - but possibly equipped with a greater powercore, cause the kingfisher is meant to be bad.

again - the BW origin is unmistakenly visible. the complete frame of the sabre was added as well as a turret placement behind the cockpit for a "sevenths weapon"

this is where the design seriously breaks with the BW line. - a classic delta frame was added to make that ship HUGE from the top/downside. - a full 4 massive engines give it the mass to justify the "SHF" label. all in all - the ship is shorter than the other variants though.

i decided to go for a SHF design rather than a bomber for reasons i cannot remember anymore....


there are nothing but concepts - low detail ones, too.
