SUBJECT: 25th May battle report

Greetings,
On the date of 25th May of 817 A.S, something very out of common happened. A 'spirit' firstly contacted senor Alexander De Castillo and later the whole patrol. The 'spirit' showed us visions. We could see through their eyes, we could see the corsairs. Gathering... preparing to invade our homeland... bloodthristy cannibals, willing to destroy our beloved Malta.

We couldn't allow they to do that. Several Ghosts of Razgriz assembled a defence force and moved the fighter and bomber squadrons in Omicron Eta. The capital ships remained in Omicron Alpha to surprise the corsair dogs.


They soon arrived in Omicron Eta in large numbers. Senor Tacito Hoplite led the defending forces. The enemy fleet was composed of:

• 2 'Osiris' Battleships
  
• 3 'Legate' Dreadnoughts
  
• several fighters
  

The pilots fought bravely and destroyed ALL the enemy vessel. In the combat, my 'Sabre' fighter was destroyed by a 'Osiris' vessel. I ejected and senor Hoplite picked my pod.

Thanks to the 'spirits' that warned us and fought by our side, the corsair fleet was succesfully destroyed and Malta's safety was secured once again.
