I. Trespassing ships
As I was readying myself to start my patrol of the day, our long range sensor arrays picked up the signatures of two military vessels not aligned to Rheinland trespassing our borders. Tactical control scrambled fighters and I was sent to intercept. My demands for an explanations were ignored and the ships kept on in Rheinland, moving from New Berlin to Dresden, and from Dresden to Omega-15. They were ordered to leave Rheinland, but again ignored and returned to Dresden. I then contacted the command center in New Berlin requesting backup. Vice-Admiral Freelamen answered my call as the ships were moving from Dresden back to New Berlin. From there on the Vice-Admiral took control of the situation. All the sensible information and the details of this encounter prior to his arrival were uploaded to the Vineta and are in possession of the Vice-Admiral, so I'll refrain from elaborating over the subject and let it to the Vice-Admiral.
II. Shady business in Dresden
The trade lanes were busy over New Berlin tonight. We had numerous groups of traders flying in and out of New Berlin carrying valuables and raw materials. While we coordinated the inspection of all those ships, we noticed on long range scanners that there was a number of unregistered ships in Dresden. PFC Luth went out to oversee the tradelanes while we kept inspecting the ships in NB. PFC Luth then reported at least two ships failing to respond to radio signals in Dresden. Moments later he reported having scanned one of the unregistered ships carrying civilians and Rheinland military personel. As the ship was Mercenary IDed and docked at the Rheinland Federal Police Base Pirna we figured it was on a rescue mission of some sort, but then, when Luth ordered it to stop for inquiry and inspection the pilot (Sharky) just ignored him.
As NB got quiet, me and PFC Soporiv moved to assist. We regrouped as Luth was following the first ship. We then found it dealing with a Red Hessian ship (a RA-4 Liberty Rogue Gunboat). The second ship was also carrying Rheinland military personel and a number of other aligned pilots. Lc. Cpl. Krupinski had joined us as the fight started. The gunboat (X_Boneyard_X) went down astoundly quickly as our firepower was joined by two other Rheinland loyals, two soldiers by the names Wetterstein and Lukas Schwartz. The criminals too got reinforcements. Two ships, Atamlancer and [RLB]-Wolf joined the fight. At first they tried to scape to NB, but we followed suit and engaged them there, then they went back to Dresden. Lc. Cpl. Krupinski then issued the order that we split in two groups to box the hostiles and avoid them to flee either side. I was ordered to coordinate the fighting in NB as the Lc. Cpl. remained in Dresden.
The fight with the Raven's Claw (Sharky) in NB was fierce, but our Wraths proved superior to the other pilot as it subdued to a well placed razor hit. Another two ships entered the area, Atamlancer and [RLB]-Wolf, Atamlancer was flying another rogue gunboat, but he tasted outrageous firepower on our side and experimented the same destiny as his sister ship. Wolf left the area during the fight with Atamlancer, probably just to get caught by our group in Dresden, but I don't have the details on that fight.
Eventually all that was left in both systems were our unscathed Wraths flying through the debris of our defeated enemies.
III. Junkers
We picked up two Junker ships flying in Dresden and two of our pilots went out to investigate. I was ordered to join PFC Luth and intercept the ships. As I was moving to the JG, one of the Junker ships was spotted entering New Berlin space. It was yet another Liberty Rogue gunboat. As we followed it, they were informed that by high-command orders they figured in our KoS list. We followed it as far as the Boon station where we engaged both of them for the first time. Unfortunately, PFC Luth's Wrath subdued to their fire. One of the police officers in the area took Luth's scape pod as me and Lc. Cpl. Krupinski pressed on to one of the gunboats. By then, both Cpl. Schprokets and Lt. Cmdr. Rall took off.
As one of the ships' shields were giving in to our fire, a simple statement from Lt. Cmdr. Rall broke away their attack and made them run for it, 'Bomber support is on the way'. We then chased them out of Rheinland space.
IV. The terrorist Mon'Star
During the last hour of my patrol I've heard rumors from the civilian pilots that the infamous terrorist, Mon'Star was nearing Rheinland space. Me and Lc. Cpl. Lang intercepted the Necrosis as it approached New Berlin's orbit. We managed to drive the ship off New Berlin, but even inflicting a good initial damage to the ship the fight's balance was starting weight on Mon'Star's side. Cpl. Schprokets came to our assistance, but unfortunately, due to a sudden malfunction, his ship was shot down by the terrorist.
The battle wasn't really looking good for us, as for some time we were hardly managing to harm the destroyer, but that required of the terrorist that he concentrated on fighting us, keeping him away from the civilians. As the battle progressed both our fighters and the destroyer were out of shield batteries. Apparently Mon'Star understood that we wouldn't let him loose in Rheinland, so he started evading us. As he directed to the occupied areas the Vineta showed up and we ambushed him at Dortmund. He made two final attempts of scaping which the Vineta frustrated, with our joint firepower, the destroyer finally gave in and we rescued it's prisoners.
V. Almeros
I suggest the military inteligence offices be made aware that for the second time the Corsair pilot |ALMEROS| was not only spotted in Halle, but reported docking there. Lead by the Vineta, me, Cpl. Schprokets and Lc. Cpl. Krupinski moved to Halle to destroy the ship. He tried to escape, but with the Vineta and three fighters after him it was only a matter of time before his Nephtys was shot down, as it did.
