Katz cursed, his shot had been a couple of inches wide, but it still meant that Warner was injured, and given the effectiveness of a Seeker, he was going to be seriously messed up.

Shrugging off his leather jacket, he sprinted across the catwalks, jumping down onto the top of the containers, as Ling slipped through the hatch ahead of him. Naturally they were going to wind up in the bowels of the station, and given the fact that the station was still undergoing repairs after the Corsair assault, it was going to be a tight, deadly and unpredictable environment.

He nearly slipped on the bloody deck outside the hatch, keeping his rifle close, as he poked his head inside the hatch, looking at the blood on the wall. Down it was.

There was more gunfire behind him, zoners were beginning to wake to the realization that something was wrong in bay three. Time was running out.

He nodded as he jogged down the steps, into the pipes and steam valves of the underworks, a trickle of sweat curling its way down his back. Before him lay an engineering labyrinth, a maze of machinery and ducting. Warner was somewhere in the depths, Ling hot on his heels... and any number of pitfalls and dangers ahead.
