Fighting the same (3 or 4) people over and over again in the same setting with 3 million NPC's all over the place gets old. Dieter had a nice thing going. If he can't continue, why doesn't another admin pick it up?

You don't need an admin to start planning events with other players.

I've said this in the previous warning thread, quit multifactioning, it will kill all the official factions slowly.
I don't know how many players are in [GRN] or in the Council or GMS or any other gallic faction, but I'm pretty sure that if you play only there, more people will join you, not only your faction, but they will start playing more in Gallia. I know what many can be thinking "playing on just 1 faction?", if it's so important to keep the "official" status, then why not?

Let's say John is in [RHA], [KNF], [LN], [RM], BAF|, RepEx.

Activity warning for [RHA]
John plays his RHA hard.

But then, Activity warning for BAF
John plays his BAF hard.

But then, Activity warning for LN
John plays his LN hard.

Activity warning for RM
John plays his RM hard.

Activity warning for KNF
John plays his KNF hard.

Activity warning for RepEx
John plays his RepEx hard.

Activity warning for [RHA]
...
And that does happen.



It's not like the other houses are different, Kusari, Rheinland, and now Bretonia are suffering the same thing. Lawfuls and unlawfuls are to get bored from shooting eachother all the time (Not in Liberty, because it gets to be a PvP house most of time), shooting the same 2 guys everyday IS boring. Which is why all the houses have other factions.
I can talk about Kusari, because it's the one I know more, while most of players complain about Hogosha and Farmers, they bring a different aspect to the house, more things to do, but only, if you keep your mind open, which I admit I didn't do all the time.

I do agree that the NPCs in Gallia are sooooooooooooo annoying, I don't want even imagine how's there with a transport (only been there with fighters, gunboat), making them less powerfuls willl help, from my point of view.

I understand Gheis' point of view, I won't lie saying I never got bored here. But, I think that's more to do with his own person, and he got bored of disco as a whole in 1 year, in 1 year I didn't do all the things I wanted to do, but that's me, that's how I am, he's different than me, that he feels Disco different than me doesn't make it wrong, but doesn't make Disco wrong either. Everyone experiences things in a different way. With this, I don't mean that changes would be bad, he doesn't hold the absulute true, neither do I.





To conclude, and my advice to everyone is, choose 1 or 2 factions, and stay with them, if you really want them to stay official. From the observations I've made, an official faction with members dedicated almost exclusively to that faction (maybe another one as well) has always a more stable player base, has more ingame interaction with others, and doesn't get activity warnings heh.

It might sound like cutting down your freedom, but if it's worth to be official....
