It started to be rough for Cristina's badly damaged sabre, now under constant pressure of enemy fire, however, the Executive Commander managed to destroy the 3 Greyhounds.
The easiest part was done, now there would be only the 4 Eagles.

"Why is it always me who has to do the dirty work ?" were her thoughts. She sighed and focused on dodging the uncountable ammount of gunfire that rained down on her ship's hull. She had no counter measures left and was now an easy target for enemy missiles.
She realised that when the console showed incoming missiles and when there was no reaction after pressing the button to launch counter measures. She sighed again.

"This day sucks." she said with an angry tone. The missiles exploded around her ship, ripping apart one of its wings. Cristina lost control of her ship for some moments. The impact of the missiles pushed the pilot to the sides of the cockpit.
She heard a strange sound coming from her shoulder followed by incredible pain, but there was no time to think about it. Instead she just cursed at her enemies, a method that always helped her to forget about pain.
The sabre, or what was left of it, was now under her control again, a lot of people would call it flying scrap metal now.

She made a quick turn and surprised one of her enemies, shot down his shield with her guns and landed a razor hit on his hull, which was enough to end its existence.
During this whole chaos she was only able to take a short look on the scanners, there was something incoming, but she wasn't able to identify it.

There was only the hope for help, another enemy would definately be her death.
