The vast room which had been chosen to serve as a conference room was lavishly decorated in a style which would fit a king. The amount of credits which had gone into the restoration of this ancient place rivaled that of what a CEO of some vast, Liberty-based, corporation could hope to make in a year, but the Nation had more than enough credits to afford these digressions from the war being fought with the Empire.

Marble pillars which were laced with gold adorned the place, the walls were filled with paintings created by Maltese artisans, a long table stood at the center of the room and the rest of the room had several other places where guests could sit and enjoy their drinks while waiting for events to unfold.

At the very corner of the room, there was an equally adorned bar which was being tended by a servant wearing a dove-blue suit worn over a white shirt. His face was obscured by a white mask which all the servants were forced to wear during the meeting. He scanned the room over and over again, but since only one guest had arrived, namely Samantha, he continued his duties at the bar in silence.
