Christine was worrying about this flight since the beginning. She had been on Malta before, but she didn't leave the ship without a suit with autonomous oxygen supply. And now they were going to the place which must be among the most secure places of Malta. Of course, Christine was worrying.

"I wonder how this meeting will go... I'm not sure if les Maltese will be glad to see us using rebreathers or wearing space suits. And if we don't... How much time does it take to make a person addicted to cardamine?"

Addiction. That's what concerned Christine. On the one hand, she was looking forward to meeting the Administrator, on the other hand, she was afraid. If the Brigands have to take off the rebreathers while being on Malta... What then? Would they become the puppets of the Outcasts?

This meeting could be a great step on the road to improving the relations between the Outcasts and the Brigands. Yet it could also be Brigands' bane and peril. However, there was no more time for such thoughts, the time of action has come. Christine kept in formation with the rest of the Brigands, as their Cuirassiers were flying in Maltan skies.
