She like to spend time in the garden of the medical centre doing some of her administrative stuff. All of the other patients seemed to avoid her like the plague as soon as they saw her cardamine supplying mask. Those who weren't prejudiced she didn't let get close to her. The scheduled date for the operation drew ever closer and she was fully aware that connecting the prosthetics to her nerves is not an easy task and should anything go wrong she can lose what's left of her leg. But then the thought of being able to finally do something other than roam around in her wheelchair gave her strength to carry on and keep focused on her recovery
