Nobody will ever get past this rule if someone doesn't force the issue. There's absolutely no legitimate reason that this request should not be accepted that I can think of, and if anyone has one I'd love to hear it.
OFPID was created to cut down on needless and pointless faction requests, or so the official word is. This is neither needless or pointless. So we're forcing the issue. Hopefully, others that have put as much time and effort into something as we did with EDGE will follow our example. Hope that clears some things up.
