This is a vary interesting flaw.

But as i look at hones sanction that is the old 5.6 The new 5.6 is.. extremely more elastic.

5.6 as stated says nothing about jumpgates... tradelanes... or moving 10 k from the fight.

So were back to square one here in regards to what i've said. Even if you make a demand. Get shields and hull down. the importance here is that green docking message.


If you were face to face with a pirate and zipped in to dock (with the current system) and your not out of range. your clearly screwed. And some may see that as a loophole in my opinion however it gives pirates and rp a little more insurance to their power play and that's fine. Without that assurance pirates might as well just sorta hang out by bases instead of trade lanes.

However if a pirate sees you or a law official sees you at 10 or 14 k and shouts in system chat pirate demands... your much safer now disappearing and switching then with the previous version of 5.6 if anything its enabled the switching behavior as long as its fully out of sight.

So its not as bad as i was thinking previously but the current rule... is definitely less restrictive.
