I encountered a battle between 2 =CR= and Senor Kyle Alvera of the 101st earlier. Senor Alvera pretty much had the situation under control and had already hurt them badly. I then proceeded to stay on stand-by: in case he needed any support. 2 more =CR= arrived and they engaged; I returned the favour. Unfortunately however, my fighter had some sort of critical fault (why are mechanics familiar with Virages so hard to find on Malta?). Consequently, I fell back to try and hotfix the problem.
When I was able to return, there was a small fleet of =CR= vessels. I can only presume Kyle's vessel had been heavily damaged and he had to fall back due to the sheer number of =CR= idioto focusing on him. A small number of Outcast ships had scrambled to support Kyle, but it seems we were all too late and heavily outnumbered.
MNS-HellHound of the 212th took out at least 1 target. We later lost the Hellhound after dealing heavy damage to their forces.
I got a Lt.Soar down to a slither of hull, but he received nanobots from his numerous allies (despite me being alone at this point). Our outcast forces became separated during battle, so I disengaged my target to go support mi amigos. The enemy had received yet more reinforcements from bunters and the like; forcing us to retreat.
I'm not a soldier, but may I suggest we show no mercy and raze their stations.... por favor? *smiles*
I'm particularly keen to shoot down Cpt. Orbit.
