Concorida was enjoying the pole, while drawing almost everybody it's attention to her.
Jacob gave a short push on John 's shoulder. John shook his head a little. "oef... what is it Jacob?" John looked a Jacob a bit confused.
Jacob stood up and walked to the corner of the room"I need your help with something"
John followed him. "Is it important?" He made a short motion with his head towards the pole dancer. "It's really important..." Jacob moved his head close to John's ear and wishpered "...I screwed up with something important I think."
John focused his full attention on what Jacob had to say.
While no one actually noticed them talking.
Except for Concordia who seemed to really enjoy herself with the pole.
While dancing she saw the two guys talk in the corner and she tried to listen while keeping the rest occupied.
"Here is the thing, you remember this girl that did deliveries for us right?"
John remembered he had a few encounters with her.
Jacob told him about here once when they met each other in the hangars.
She was some sort of delivery girl moving some cargo around, a bit of a vague thing actually. "I think I remember here yes." John whispered back. "Well she had to do this shipment but things got screwed up badly, here is what happened..." "You really have to tell me now, right here?" John interrupted.
Jacob made a very serious look at John. "It is that important yes, because my frigging deal got screwed up, not her fault though.
However after the 'that' whole deal ending up in a fire fight. She disappeared shortly after and I can locate her anymore"
John found it all a bit strange. "So you're saying if I know where she might be? "No I doubt you would know. The issue is she wasn't working for us or money or whatever."
Jacob shortly took a peek at the rest of the people in the room.
Everybody looked rather occupied. With that girl swinging around.
Concordia found it all a bit suspicious. 'could they be talking about Carrie?' She thought to herself.
"So why are you telling me this? "Look she was here because of her father, we talked her into working for us so she would get to see her father." "She barely known anything though, we never told here where her father is or how high these debts were she had to repay. "It was enough to keep her motivated to work though, however there is an slight issue..."
Jacob paused for a few seconds. While John was wondering what kinda of mess Jacob actually made.
Jacob resumed... "She knows about this place and she's known to tell certain people a little to much" "And now that she has disappeared we need to take a precautions just in case she tells people about her dad, this liner, stuff she had to do and all that."
John was a bit confused about all this. "So what are you suggesting we do, and why are you telling me?
Jacob took another short peek at the room. This girl seemed to have an endless supply of energy. She was still going nuts with this pole.
"Well if told the boss he would want my head for losing her, I already lost her once but she was traceable back then, now I can't find anything about her anymore" "So what about her dad then?" "I don't know, I was thinking of asking him where Carrie might be."
Suddenly there was a little 'boom' sound in the room.
Both John and Jacob looked at the 'sound'.
"ouch..." Concordia lost her grip on the pole upon hearing the name Carrie.
Larry rushed towards the girl. "Are you alright?!"
The girl scratched her back. "wahoo, it had to be the ocean waves" she giggled.
The rest of the people in the room looked at each other little confused.
Larry laughed a little "I'm sure it were the waves.
The ship was moored rock solid and the ocean was very calm...
John and Jacob looking at each other like 'was this a coincidence?'
Shiro looking at Concordia was still sort of frozen and speechless.
Larry got Concordia back on her feet. "still, she deserves a little applause right?" stood back and clapped his hands. "Ow there is no need for that" She smiled a bit blushing.
John giving Jacob a push against his shoulder to start clapping for a few seconds.
The only one not clapping was Shiro she was still totally confused of what was going on.
John took a sharp look at Jacob. "She told me she was looking for someone you know." "She did huh? Jacob taking a sharp look at Concordia. "I'd like to show you something..." He paused and thought for a few seconds "... interesting(?)"
"John, if you don't mind? You do whatever you want with this Sh.. Shiro?" "Uh... wh- what?" Shiro not following the situation for one bit.
