Update on everything

The recent weeks were not easy times for our server. Now it's time to make some decisions - and conclusions - about what was going on. I'll try to sum up what I see as preferable solutions for our problems.

I like this too, it's a sensible approach.

I am in favour of player looting, even for mounted guns, but that might make friendly duels a bit awkward and difficult, and expensive if someone were to lose a Nova, for example. There's also the danger that it increases the temptation to use F1 and alt-F4 if they are still available in flight.

I think we should definitely enable player looting for cargo. It would be no change for the one who dies, as we lose cargo now anyway.
