What is the 'rocks' were just a tiny field around an indestructible marker point - in orbit around a planet or stationary object?

They would automatically transfer into your hold - and deplete over time. One could put a number of such points across a planet's surface.

Adding new fields requires a map update however.

Maybe if the OSC guys, or whoever, can get together with me we could come up with some solid proposals.
